The challenge
The Recruitment Company is an award-winning agency with offices in Sydney and Dublin, specialising in IT, digital and public sector recruitment. The team needed an ATS that supported their service standards and the way good recruiters actually work.
TRC liked its previous ATS provider, but the technology had become outdated and the provider could not respond to the team’s needs. They wanted a partner that would listen to product feedback and take it into account when improving the platform.
The team reviewed a number of local and global ATS providers. Many appeared polished, but they did not match TRC’s recruitment philosophy. TRC was not looking for shortcuts that encouraged recruiters to email hundreds of candidates at once. They wanted technology that supported better judgement, stronger service and more focused candidate engagement.
The solution
Recruit Wizard gave TRC a platform built around solid recruitment practice rather than surface-level features. The system was easy for staff to use, with practical workflows, useful functionality and email templates that reduced administration while increasing service levels.
Recruit Wizard integrated with TRC’s core systems, from timesheets and the company website through to search engines and induction workflows. That meant consultants could access what they needed from the ATS without jumping between disconnected tools.
The platform also supported cloud-based work. When COVID accelerated remote work, TRC already had a system that gave management real-time visibility without micromanaging the team.
TRC also valued Recruit Wizard’s iProfile candidate exchange database, which helps increase the number of active candidates available in a recruiter’s database.
The result
Recruit Wizard changed how TRC captured recruitment activity. Instead of completing a process outside the platform and recording it afterwards, recruiters could complete the process inside Recruit Wizard and have the activity logged as part of the workflow.
That shift increased compliance from about 60 percent to about 95 percent. It also gave the management team stronger reporting and dashboard visibility, especially while teams were working remotely.
TRC found Recruit Wizard open, transparent and accessible. Support was responsive, even out of hours, and the relationship felt like a genuine partnership rather than a vendor arrangement.
The platform also helped TRC differentiate in tenders. iProfile became part of every sales pitch because it gave the team access to more active candidates and a clearer story to share with clients.
For TRC, Recruit Wizard contributed to business success through stability, responsiveness and willingness to keep improving with the customer.
“Recruit Wizard come to us with new ideas and take our ideas on board. We genuinely see them as a partner, not a supplier.”
