FAQ

Selection Signals questions

What are Selection Signals?

Selection Signals is a SEEK solution implemented with Recruit Wizard to capture selected recruitment process outcomes for eligible applications. These status updates help SEEK understand how applications progress after they enter the Recruit Wizard ATS. SEEK can use that information to improve matching quality and the relevance of future candidate experiences.

What data will be shared with SEEK when Selection Signals are enabled?

Recruit Wizard shares application status update signals with SEEK for eligible applications sourced from SEEK, Jobstreet or Jobsdb. The payload uses masked identifiers so SEEK can associate the signal with the relevant application without Recruit Wizard sending personally identifiable information. Data collected by SEEK is managed in accordance with SEEK's Privacy Policy.

Is personally identifiable information sent from Recruit Wizard to SEEK?

No. Recruit Wizard does not send personally identifiable information as part of the Selection Signals payload. Application updates are linked using masked identifiers rather than candidate names, contact details or other directly identifying information.

Is candidate consent required to send Selection Signals to SEEK from Recruit Wizard?

Candidates who apply through SEEK agree to the platform's Privacy Policy as part of registration and use of the service. That policy explains that SEEK collects data directly from candidates and indirectly through applicant tracking systems and other partners. Organisations should review their own privacy obligations and direct questions about SEEK's collection practices to their SEEK Account Manager or Customer Service Representative.
